Decide when you're arriving and how long you're staying. Check the prices page to see rates: 350 UAH/night for short stays, 280 UAH/night for 7+ nights, 230 UAH/night for 30+ nights. Beds are available in male and female dorms.
Send a message on Telegram (@dja_hostel_chat) or call +380 50 066 10 12. Tell Victor your dates, number of guests, and any questions. Response time: 5–10 minutes during daytime, up to 1 hour at night.
Victor confirms bed availability and sends you the exact address, check-in instructions, and any seasonal notes. For weekly/monthly stays, a small prepayment (1–2 nights) may be requested. Short stays: no prepayment — pay on arrival.
Arrive, show your passport or ID, pay in cash (UAH) or by bank transfer. Get your bed, locker, and Wi-Fi password. If you're arriving late — just let Victor know your ETA. The owner lives on-site, so someone is always here.
Telegram is fastest. Phone works for urgent questions. Email for non-urgent inquiries.
Heads-up: There is no 24/7 reception desk. This is a small hostel — the owner handles everything personally. If you message at 03:00, expect a reply by morning. If you're arriving late at night, tell Victor in advance so he's awake to let you in.

For short stays (1–6 nights) no deposit is required — you pay on arrival. For weekly and monthly stays, a prepayment of 1–2 nights may be requested to secure the bed, depending on season and availability.
Short stays: free cancellation up to 24 hours before check-in. Weekly stays: free cancellation up to 48 hours before check-in. Monthly stays: prepayment is non-refundable if cancelled less than 7 days before arrival. Contact the owner directly — we handle cancellations case by case, not by rigid policy.
Standard check-in starts at 14:00 and check-out is by 11:00. Early check-in is possible if your bed is free — message the owner the day before. Late check-out may be arranged for a small fee (half the nightly rate) if the bed is not booked.
Bring a valid passport or national ID. Foreign guests need the passport they used to enter Ukraine. The owner records guest data as required by Ukrainian law. No copies are kept — data is registered and stored securely.
Payment is in cash (UAH) on arrival for short stays. Bank transfer to a Ukrainian card is also available. Weekly and monthly guests can pay by bank transfer. No credit card terminal on-site — this keeps our rates lower than OTA prices.
Late check-in is fine — just let the owner know your estimated arrival time. The owner lives on-site 24/7, so someone is always here to let you in. Message on Telegram when you're 30 minutes away.
